This version is an enhancement to the
IR8 or RF8 systems, at
no additional cost. Just specifiy you would
like this option at time of order.
The inlay on the handset has the first four buttons A – D each
coloured separately. These colours then match the multiple choice
option boxes on the screen. The student can match either the letters or the distinctive
colours to make their choice.
The system enjoys all the software benefits of the regular Optivote application
and can be switched between the colour match
and the standard screen display.
The colour match system was introduced following a request from Barnet LEA to aid
children for whom English was not their first language. However, its adoption has
been far more widespread than first expected with adult learning
centres, the emergency services and others requesting the CMS option
in their training rooms.
