is a self contained block plugin that installs on your Moodle server. It enables Moodle
quizzes, feedback surveys and questionnaires to run through the Optivote system. All student data remains in the Moodle
database.
The Optivote client software contains its own web browser which is used to view your Moodle
site. The activity is set up in Moodle as usual. The teacher browses to the relevant
quiz and engages it in the Optivote system. The students in that course or group
are automatically allocated a numbered handset and respond to the questions. All responses
are immediately returned to your Moodle site for immediate or post course review. There is no registration of handsets
Students can login to their Moodle page and see their individual results as soon
as the lecture concludes. All data is now held in your Moodle database. Teachers
do not have to download, upload, import or export any data this is all handled by
the plugin.
